objective

cut + sew full-zip hoodie using McCall's pattern guide.

guidance

To comprehend the instructions from the McCall’s guide requires previous sewing experience.

My sewing lab instructor, Kathy Lewis, was able to help decipher each process step that was difficult for someone new to sewing.

I used this semi-industrial sewing machine because it directs spool thread + controls the needle much smoother than domestic sewing machines.

95% nylon 5% spandex

nylon woven with crisp drape &

lightweight nature perfect for outdoor apparel.

Windbreakers, as well as activewear, made from this material, will repel the sweat or rain that you encounter while maintaining dimensional stability..
